Friday's Foto

While walking in Prospect Park earlier in the week I came across a carpet of Snowdrops near Nelly's Lawn. Generally found in wooded areas, this wildflower usually blooms in late-February and can sometimes be found poking up through snow cover. Perhaps this month's mild weather has helped trigger an early bloom.
