City Birder Tours

Beginning March 1, 2012, I will be leading weekday birding tours to various Brooklyn locations. The first trips will be in Prospect Park and Green-Wood Cemetery, but I'll be adding new areas in the near future. Check back often for updates.

Prospect Park Weekly City Birder Tours

Tuesdays, 7:30am to 10:30am
Meet in front of the Stranahan Statue at the northeast corner of Prospect Park's Grand Army Plaza entrance.

Prospect Park meeting place. Closest subway station is 2 and 3 lines Grand Army Plaza. The B41 bus also stops at Grand Army Plaza near Brooklyn Library:



Green-Wood Cemetery Weekly Tours

On Wednesdays, beginning on May 2nd, I'll also be leading regular tours of Green-Wood Cemetery. Come look for songbirds, Monk Parakeets, raptors, botanics and more at this national historic landmark and birding hotspot. Meet at 8am at the cemetery's main entrance on 5th Ave. and 25th Street in Brooklyn. Take the "R" train to 25th Street station and walk up one block. By bus, take the B63 which stops at 25th St.
