Friday's Foto

Tree Swallow nestboxes ring the path surrounding Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge's West Pond. These acrobatic insectivores are also know to eat plant food to help them survive cold snaps. Their wintering grounds are as far as southern Central America.
