Migration Heats Up
A shift in the winds brought us a big increase in bird diversity and abundance over the past weekend, just in time for my back to back dawn tours at Green-Wood Cemetery. Our combined Saturday and Sunday lists totalled 86 species, 22 of which were warblers. The previous weekend we tallied 73 species.
