Montauk Winter Weekend with NYC Audubon
Join the American Littoral Society and NYC Audubon for a Montauk Winter Weekend!
See seals, seabirds and hike the shorelines and woods at Montauk during the peak birding time. Visit the "Walking Dunes", the historic Montauk lighthouse and bluffs, Camp Hero and Napeague forest and dunes.
Tours are led by Chapter Director and noted naturalist, Don Riepe, Mickey Cohen and local naturalist, Mike Bottini.
Trip Price: $385.00 per person (double occupancy rate). $150 additional for single occupancy rate (total $535.00).
Ticket price includes 2 nights at the stately Montauk Manor House with heated pool and jacuzzi, 5 meals, 5 guided hikes and 2 evening programs.

Explore Long Pond Park, keeping an eye out for the local White-tailed deer population, bird nests, and wintering bird species. It is an uncommon mixture of woodland and wetland, providing a peaceful home to a diverse array of wildlife. Its beauty is easily appreciated and is one of the most pristine natural areas in all of New York, covering over 100 acres. Meet at the corner of Eugene Street and Adelphi Avenue, right by the intersection of Page Avenue and Amboy Road (http://goo.gl/maps/UCsFg). Parking is available on Eugene Street.
