Meet 9 AM at the Dunkin Donuts outside the Coney Island train station (Stillwell and Surf Ave). Trains are F, Q, N, and D to the last stop.

Note: this is a subway only trip (no cars). The plan is to visit coastal locales starting from Coney Island walking towards the Q line at Sheepshead Bay. The walk is about 6-7 miles. Dress for winter. We will likely stop at Randazzos Seafood (or another place) along Emmons Ave after the bird walk tour. Coastal water birds and gulls will be a primary focus.

Explore Wave Hill’s woodlands and gardens and discover the world of insects, flowers, trees, birds and their fascinating habitats on this naturalist-led walk, offered jointly by Wave Hill and NYC Audubon. Ideal for ages 5 and up and their curious adult companions. Rain or shine, so dress for the weather!
