The parrot, that is. I first learned of the famous
African Grey Parrot while watching a program on PBS called
"Nature: Inside the Animal Mind". The clever bird became sort of a little inside joke between me and my wife. His death seems odd to me because he was only 31 years old and parrots are known to sometimes outlive their owners. You can read his obituary on the
