Birder busted for tripod follow-up

I just received the following from my friend Mike:

"Tomorrow morning 1010 WINS on your AM dial in the NYC area will be running an interview I granted to John Montone about my recent summons for the unlicensed use of a tripod. It will be aired from between 5:00 to 10:00 AM approximately every forty minutes. If you have an opinion on this issue, please call the 78th Precinct at (718)636-6411 and let them know how you feel. Thank you!

Michael S. Zablocky
Brooklyn, NY"

Let the city know how police officers should really be spending their time.

Although your comparison examples seem like a bit of a stretch I agree with you about showing respect to each other. However, let me clarify my position and the comments that have been made regarding this subject. Nobody has been bashing the police as a group. I have nothing but respect for police officers. My brother is a police officer and I have never had a negative experience with the men and women of the NYPD. Although, like every profession, there are folks who do their job well and those who do not. Don't we have the right to air our grievances when we feel we are wronged?

I promise that this is the last of this subject on this blog.
